New York City Cops Video

January 26, 2006 by Mica Prazak

I absolutely love the new Strokes album, and they remain my favourite band. This song was originally to be on the brilliant album “Is this It?” but it was pulled and replaced by the B-side When it Started after the events of 9/11. I have always loved this song, but unfortunately most people (in the US, the song remained on the UK version) aren’t aware of this song’s existence. This is a real energy song, that they often use in concerts after softer ballads such as Someday or Under Control.

Anyways, wonderful song, and i wanted to make a grungy, choppy music video to capture what the song is to me. This song is rebellion, it breaks the law, and I always give in to its delicious seduction.

Enjoy, boys and girls.

” My Experiment ” Music Video

January 23, 2006 by Mica Prazak

During the summer of 2005, I had a dream one night about the Coldplay video: “The Scientist.” Chris Martin learned how to sing the song backwards, so that when the video was filmed, they could reverse the motion, but his lips would still be moving to the words of the song.

I wondered what the video looked like forward, with the song backwards, the song becomes some kind of crazy foreign love song. Then I added some shots of my own with some friends I phoned up the next morning.

I hope you enjoy. Here is the link to Google Video.

Goodbye Aiden

January 22, 2006 by Mica Prazak

This video is made for my good friend Aidan, who stayed with us at UBC for the first term of this school year. He is a genuine person, someone who I love dearly and respect. As lazy as the boy can be, I thought making a traditional goodbye video wouldn’t be fitting for Aidan. I wanted to make a video for: “A Night in the Eyes of Aidan Moore.” That’s what I did; he is barely in the movie, because…

we are experiencing a night with him.
